AAB was contracted by D’VineRipe to design and oversee the technical side of an 8.5 hectare expansion near Adelaide in Australia. The expansion consisted of a semi-closed greenhouse growing tomatoes. The greenhouse includes a small number of venting windows. The end walls feature corridors with air handling units (AHUs), which are fitted with air hoses below the cultivation gutters. This system can be used for both cooling and heating. A further two sections are being constructed with traditional Pad & Fan cooling. These sections will also be fitted with assimilation lights.
